Shine

5/15/2012

It not gonna be that hard
But it not gonna be that easy

It not gonna be that quickly
But it not gonna take too far

Cuz we're all stars
(And we'll keep shining...)
(And we'll keep shining brightly)

It not gonna be that little
But it not gonna be that stuff

It not gonna be that rough
But it not gonna be that sweetly

But we're all stars
(And we'll keep shining)
(And we'll keep shining brightly)

Shine
Cuz you are a star
Shy
But you are a star
Shine
Cuz you are a star bright
On your way
(And you'll keep shining brightly)
(And you'll keep shining brightly)
On your own way

  1. I am amazed at his ability to write, dear Peter! Within my chances of understanding the Portuguese language, I see that his new poetry admits figures of speech. PERFECT! Meeting the figure of construction, anaphora (repetition of words):
"It not Gonna Be That Hard
But it not Gonna Be That Easy "
    "(And we'll keep shining ...)
(And we'll keep shining brightly) "
Meeting also figure of thought, GRADATION (Idea ascending):
    "(And we'll keep shining)
(And we'll keep shining brightly) "
See also the metaphor (comparison between literal and metaphorical sense):
    "But we're all stars"
Above all, this poetry reveals my time today. I need to shine! Being light, stand me, rise for my talent and skill. I think about it every day. I wish to shine in every human being should have. The desire to be brilliant. Allow yourself to be brilliant. Heraclitus once said: "Being is ...". People have a desire to be big and important. Desire is what counts. Your poem reminded me that I look for an integral development: mind, body, intelligence, sensitivity, spirituality and personal responsibility. The star to shine in me, and that depends on me. The only way is mine:
"Cuz you are a bright star
    On your way
    (And you'll keep shining brightly)
    (And you'll keep shining brightly)
    On your own way ".

Congratulations composition of such a poem!

PERFEITO! Encontro a figura de construção, a ANÁFORA (Repetição de palavras):
"It not gonna be that hard
But it not gonna be that easy"
    "(And we'll keep shining...)
    (And we'll keep shining brightly)"
    "(And we'll keep shining)
    (And we'll keep shining brightly)"
    "But we're all stars"
"Cuz you are a star bright
    On your way
    (And you'll keep shining brightly)
    (And you'll keep shining brightly)
    On your own way".

Parabéns pela composição de tal poema!
